I want to talk a little about the artwork on this book. I don't know anything about the models or the graphic artist, but I want to say "well done". He's handsome, she's adorable, and that lantern... does that suggest intrigue or what? Swashbuckling, even.
As you can see, this book is also a part of the Harlequin Nocturne series. Here's a brief description for you:
KING OF THE OTHERWORLD The race is on to find the true heir to the faerie crown before the evil king Moncoya returns from exile. Mercenary necromancer Jethro de Loix will find the challenger to Moncoya's crown...for a price. One million mortal dollars. Outraged at Jethro's audacity, Princess Vashti, Moncoy's daughter, arranges to accompany him on his mission.
Jethro doesn't want company, especially not from Moncoya's belligerent, pampered daughter. But as their journey pits them against evil forces, their animosity soon gives way to an overwhelming physical attraction. When the trail ends on the legendary Isle of Avalon, can the pair face down the evil sorceress Morgan le Fay to claim a future they'd long denied themselves?
We thought you'd like to know a little more about Jane. Jane lives in Cheshire, England, is married to a lovely man and is mum to two grown up children. We were lucky enough (again) to ask her a few questions.
SC:.Tell me a little bit about your main character of this book.
JG:The main character in this book is a necromancer called Jethro de Loix. Necromancers are sorcerers who have a set of skills, ranging from the ability to converse with the deceased to complete control over the undead. Jethro is a mercenary. He sells his skills to the highest bidder.
JG: Ido believe in the paranormal and, although I don’t have any experiences myself, I come from a family who have lots of stories to tell. My great-grandmother was very intuitive and there was a footpath close to her home that she was unable to walk along because of the sensation of hands grabbing her and pulling at her or voices calling to her!
JG: I have a lot going on right now! In September 2016, my third Otherworld title for Harlequin Nocturne, Otherworld Challenger, releases. Then Immortal Billionaire is out in November 2016. 2017 sees the release of my Arctic Brotherhood series for SMP Swerve. Watch out for my Arctic werewolves, they are hot! The Unforgettable Wolf, book four in the Otherworld series is out in March 2017. Oh, and I have a new series, The Sons of Stillwater, with Harlequin Romantic Suspense, in 2017. So, yes. I've been busy!
