THE SHAG HARBOUR UFO INCIDENT: OCTOBER 4, 1967

October 4, 1967.  An Air Canada flight high in the skies of Quebec enroute to Halifax reports seeing a UFO enroute. This was only the beginning of what is probably Canada's most infamous UFO story. (Hey, there's even Royal Mint coins commemorating it).

Later that night, in Shag Harbour Nova Scotia, several witnesses see something crash into the water. Thinking it was a downed plane, the authorities are called, including the RCMP who file a UFO report. Boats go out in search of the plane, but all they find is a yellow slime in the water.

Was it a submersible craft? Were there actually two? What did the USA and Russia find so interesting about this?  This documentary looks back at that night on Canada's east coast.
