Hello and welcome to Wednesday, which is kind of the Jan Brady day of the week. How's your day going so far? Got your week all planned?

We're lucky to get to spend some time with author L.M. Pruitt today, to talk about THE LUCY TRILOGY. She's got some advice about plans:

That's how this series kicks off. It's the description for the first book. Intriguing, non? Aren't you glad you don't live in a dystopian world? As you can see, there are three books in the Lucy Trilogy (well, that just makes sense), and they all form part of L.M. Pruitt's Winged Series. They fall into the Urban Fantasy/Paranormal Romance genre, so you can expect some love among the ruins.

Would you like to know a little about the author of this series? She's quite the busy gal, so we're lucky she had a chance to stop by Supernatural Central.

We had a chance to ask her a few questions, and here's what she had to say:

SC:.       Tell me a little bit about your main character of this book.

LMP: The main character in this book was actually a recurring character in the first set of books in the series. I decided to bring her back (in a way) because I felt she was such an interesting character and we didn’t get to spend a lot of time with you. This version of her is, I think, a better one than what I first intended but that’s the beauty of writing—you’re allowed to make changes.

SC: Do you believe in the paranormal and if so, do you have an experience you can share?

LMP: I do but I also believe some people are more sensitive than others and so they’re more likely to have experiences. As an adult, I’ve definitely felt unsettled in areas only to find out they had an odd or gruesome history to them. I’m pretty sure my cat is seeing stuff all the time and is trying to tell me but I can’t speak cat so she’s very frustrated with me.

SC:  What titles are you working on now that you can tell us about?

LMP: I’m working on the next in a romantic suspense/thriller about a married couple who are also serial killers. I’m also working on the last book in a werewolf series and then I’m plotting out my writing for next year. I’ve got a lot of stuff in the works for 2017 and more than a few surprises. L.M. Pruitt has been reading and writing for as long as she can remember. A native of Florida with a love of New Orleans, she has the uncanny ability to find humor in most things and would probably kill a plastic plant. She knows this because she's killed bamboo. Twice.  She is the author of the Winged series, the Plaisir Coupable series, Jude Magdalyn series, the Moon Rising series, and Taken: A Frankie Post Novel.

Christina was good enough to stop by and answer a few questions for Supernatural Central:

SC:Tell me a little bit about your main character of this book.

CLP: Shay has just been recaptured by Dr. Cole and struggles with an inevitable fact. She may have to kill Eric. He’s been reprogrammed to murder and she can’t stand by and watch him do it—she’s resolved to do whatever it takes to save as many as possible, even if it means losing the one she loves most in the process.

SC: Do you believe in the paranormal and if so, do you have an experience you can share?

CLP: I feel that we will never know or understand everything that happens in this world. We’re still discovering new animals!

SC: What titles are you working on now that you can tell us about?

CLP: I am working on Book 4 in the ALMOST Series, 4 works in the C I N Series (coming in November and December!) I am happy to say I’ve received several notes back from beta readers of Heather’s Turn and will be working on the corrections suggested by them, in November.

Book 4 in the ALMOST Series, is a book of romance and suspenseful action. The untold stories of your favorite characters along with their love stories…for part of the book anyway. The A.M.I.E.s have ideas of their own and are willing to destroy anything and anyone standing in their way. Can Shay and Eric stop them before it is too late? This book is by far my favorite of the series, entitled: A.M.I.E.: Almost Reality…

The C I N Series: Ally’s Secret Book 3, finally, the truth is revealed. What she refuses to tell Alex, comes to light, when a strange hooded epoch retells the tragic love story of Ally’s best friend, Crystal. What did Ally do to her?

In this series, two additional short stories and a novella showcasing casting call winners Savannah and Jake entitled Ravenna Frost.

Heather’s Turn is a coming of age novel that deals with alcoholism, drug abuse, racial prejudice, rape and broken families.

Hey Fray, it's Friday and to tell you the truth I'm a little under the weather. Got that stuffy nose thing starting to happen and I'm reaching for the COLD-FX. INTERVIEW with author MILANA JACKS

Another day, another author for you to meet. Today we're talking to author Milana Jacks asking her a little bit about her book Blind Beast Mate, a steamy dystopian (erotic) romance.

SC: Tell me a little bit about the main characters of this book.

MJ: Blind Beast Mate is a dystopian romance with dual povs. Rey, the heroine, grew up in one of the communities humans have inhabited after the nuclear war, which had destroyed the Earth. She worries The Alpha Beast, the leader of the alien people who took over the Earth, will get rid of her when he finds our she isn’t the perfect pair the community provides for the alien race. Rey is brave even when she’s scared and she’s smart.

The Alpha Beast is as unapologetic as he is sweet and possessive.

SC:  Do you believe in the paranormal and if so, do you have an experience you can share?

MJ: I believe in demons inhabiting bodies only because I’ve read true stories, which science and facts couldn’t explain. Thank the Vamp Lords, I don’t have experience in the supernatural arena.

SC: What titles are you working on now that you can tell us about?

MJ: Besides writing sexy novellas, I write Jade Dober Urban Fantasy with a kick-ass heroine, action and steep plot. Currently, Jade book 2 is in draft. Next paranormal sexy novella I have coming also features a disabled heroine. The characters are in their late thirties, early forties. JANE GODMAN'S BACK with OTHERWORLD CHALLENGER

Talk about being a busy lady! Back in August we had the chance to talk to Harlequin author Jane Godman about her book IMMORTAL BILLIONAIRE and now she's back for more.
 
I want to talk a little about the artwork on this book. I don't know anything about the models or the graphic artist, but I want to say "well done". He's handsome, she's adorable, and that lantern... does that suggest intrigue or what? Swashbuckling, even.

 

 

As you can see, this book is also a part of the Harlequin Nocturne series. Here's a brief description for you:

We thought you'd like to know a little more about Jane. Jane lives in Cheshire, England, is married to a lovely man and is mum to two grown up children. We were lucky enough (again) to ask her a few questions.

 

SC:.Tell me a little bit about your main character of this book.

 JG: The main character in this book is a necromancer called Jethro de Loix.  Necromancers are sorcerers who have a set of skills, ranging from the ability to converse with the deceased to complete control over the undead. Jethro is a mercenary. He sells his skills to the highest bidder. 

SC: Do you believe in the paranormal and if so, do you have an experience you can share?

JG: I do believe in the paranormal and, although I don’t have any experiences myself, I come from a family who have lots of stories to tell. My great-grandmother was very intuitive and there was a footpath close to her home that she was unable to walk along because of the sensation of hands grabbing her and pulling at her or voices calling to her!  

SC: What titles are you working on now that you can tell us about?

JG: I have a lot going on right now! In September 2016, my third Otherworld title for Harlequin Nocturne, Otherworld Challenger, releases. Then Immortal Billionaire is out in November 2016. 2017 sees the release of my Arctic Brotherhood series for SMP Swerve. Watch out for my Arctic werewolves, they are hot! The Unforgettable Wolf, book four in the Otherworld series is out in March 2017. Oh, and I have a new series, The Sons of Stillwater, with Harlequin Romantic Suspense, in 2017. So, yes. I've been busy!
