SC: Tell me a little bit about your main character of this book.
SC: Tell me a little bit about your main character of this book.
LPM: Mouth
Watering focuses on Dominic Hardy, who is the head baseball coach at an
all-boys boarding school in Colorado. He is a shifter, and in this shifter
world, men mate for life. There is one person that the universe deemed made for
him. He’s a player though, he loves his life, and he isn’t looking for that
kind of commitment. But, of course, once his woman comes into his life
everything changes. Dominic is responsible and levelheaded, and certainly
protective when it comes to his mate.
SC: Dominic
sounds like a complex guy with unusual life experiences. Do you believe in the
paranormal and if so, do you have an experience you can share?
LPM: I do. I
can’t honestly say that I think werewolves or vampires exist, but I do believe
that there are things, beings, out there that we don’t know about. I am one of
those people that loves to watch shows about the Loch Ness Monster and Big
Foot. It’s exciting. I have seen a ghost before. I was little, and my friend
and I used to put flowers on the graves in the old cemetery behind her house.
We saw the exact same thing at the exact same time and we were on opposite
sides of the grounds. We saw a lady in a Victorian era dress holding the hand
of a little boy in a sailor suit. We both screamed, but I think it was more
from shock. I don’t remember being scared.
SC: That
would have been a bit unnerving to say the least. Food for thought though. What
titles are you working on now that you can tell us about?
LPM: I am
currently working on finishing the next book in the Riffraff Records series,
which is titled Legacy. Then it’ll be back to work on the St. Leasing series. I
want to have St. Leasing finished and released all this year. So I’ve got my
work cut out for me.
